Mississippi River Coils

A South American steel company retained AIMCO to assist with the import of more than 300,000 tons of hot-rolled, cold-rolled and galvanized coils to its sister company in the United States.

AIMCO managed the complete logistics of this project from the ocean vessel midstream on the Lower Mississippi River to various locations throughout the US by inland waterways. Services included stevedoring, barging, terminal offloading, reloading to trucks and trucking.
